"Here I Sleep Like a Newborn"
"This is my second stay here and It's confirmed in my mind as the best kept secret in this area. The brooms are comfy, the inn keepers were so wonderful it felt like staying with family. Breakfast was simple yet the options were varied and delicious especially the morning fruit mix of kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries! Mega-Yum!!! I normally have trouble falling asleep when I'm on the road but here I slept like a newborn. Close to good dining and just such a pleasant change from the "Cookie Cutter" feel of most hotels now a days. Highly recommended! ” – Stayed January 2015, traveled on business

"Drove down from Angel Fire and stayed for one night before heading to Carlsbad Caverns. Ryan, the innkeeper, was so friendly and knowledgeable. We received cookies upon check in and complimentary popcorn and hot chocolate for the kids. We made use of the family room downstairs to eat dinner and relax. Breakfast in the morning was very good. "From the friendly couple who runs the Heritage Inn to the fabulous breakfast every morning, I wish I lived at the Heritage Inn! My girlfriend and I stayed here as we celebrated our 1-year anniversary and visited Carlsbad Caverns. The room was well-decorated, clean, and private. At the same time, I felt like I was staying in a friend's home. There was free cocoa, tea, and popcorn in close to our room in the hall, and there were inexpensive snacks for sale down the hall. I would stay here again if I happened to be in town and would recommend it to everyone looking for a quiet getaway. It was a drive to Carlsbad Caverns, but it was in a cute downtown area to walk around in. " – Stayed November 2014, traveled as a couple
