One block west on Main Street is Heritage Walkway completed as the first phase of Artesia Main Street's Revitalization project. World-class sculptures grace Artesia's Main Street creating a history in bronze. The historic Ocotillo Performing Arts Center is just across Main Street.

The 18-hole "Artesia" course at the Artesia Country Club facility in Artesia, New Mexico features 6,124 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 68.9 and it has a slope rating of 118. Designed by Ralph M. Plummer, ASGCA/George Williams ASGCA, the Artesia golf course opened in 1946. Joe Smith manages the course as the Golf Professional.

For more than 30 years, the Artesia Arts Council has works to share, support and develop artistic talent in Southeastern New Mexico.
From the beginning, two major annual events that continue to this day were Art in the Park and Missoula Children’s Theatre. The Community Theatre presents five plays per year, normally with performances on two weekends per play. The Community Chorale performs a Christmas concert in early December and a spring concert in May.
The Concert Series at the Ocotillo Performing Arts theater that is just a few minutes walking distance from the Heritage Inn. Also, we are pleased to be able to say that most artists that perform at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Theater stay at the Heritage Inn.
